History

In 1990, William Tyler established Xperts, Inc. to service a key regional power company in Richmond with IT and graphics development. Over the years, Xperts grew to become a technical staffing and software development company adding to its list of clients from local manufacturing companies to Fortune 500 corporations.

Utilizing skilled consultants, the Xperts' Consultant Services division provides staff augmentation services to clients who need additional support for their internal IT technology teams. Project managers, business analysts, application developers, network engineers and more consultants are available for short or long-term hire.

Our organization has been awarded Virginia's Small Business of the Year and has been named one of Virginia Business Magazine's Fantastic 50.

In early 1997, Xperts developed our premier IEP software solution, iep.online®, in cooperation with Henrico County Public Schools. Henrico is a nationally-recognized county surrounding Richmond, Virginia. Known as an innovator with technology for both instructional and administrative computing, Henrico worked with Xperts to create the first fully Web-based IEP management product available on the market.

Our current version of iep.online® is a comprehensive child-centered special education management system offering modules to manage a comprehensive special education process, including student demographics, referral, eligibility, IEP processing, 504 documentation, caseload management and Medicaid reimbursement through med.online®. With four levels of security embedded within each application, parents, students, teachers, and administrators all are assured of appropriate privacy protection and security of their data.

Updates are integrated into the software, our application stays up to date and compliant to regulation. iep.online® was the first product on the market to meet the 2004 IDEIA federal regulations, and we continue to stay current and proactive with compliance guidelines.

As the preferred vendor for the Washington School Information Processing Cooperative buying group, iep.online® has received strong market success and is now servicing over 120 school districts of all sizes throughout the country. Notable districts include Gwinnett County, the fastest growing school district in the Georgia metropolitan area, Virginia Beach Public Schools and the Lake Washington School District.
